Renovation of a fire / police facility in Warren, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
As of July 29, 2025, there were no bids received. No definite date for rebid. Each Bid must be accompanied by Proposal Security in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check, or Bid bond in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the total maximum bid price in accordance with provisions contained in the "Instructions to Bidders" section of the specifications Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons or companies who have purchased a full set of Contract Documents. Contractors must comply with the PA Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage Rates and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Non-Discrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause, as specified in the Contract Documents. Except as otherwise expressly permitted by law, no Bidder may withdraw its Bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after date of opening. The City of Warren reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to accept or reject any item or combination of items contained in any Bid and to waive any irregularities in conjunction therewith. The Contract Documents may be obtained from Greenman Pedersen, Inc. upon a non-refundable payment of either $50.00 for electronic Contract Documents or $150.00 for hard copy Contract Documents. Bidders or vendors requesting next day or special mailing will be responsible for all mailing or shipping charges. Bidders must be on record at the issuing office as an official plan holder Question Deadline 07/02/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to only those parties recorded by Engineer as having purchased a full set of the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered A. All work for this project is included under one (1) construction contract. B. All required equipment and materials are to be furnished by the Contractor. The Owner will not be furnishing any equipment or materials for this project A. The Contractor shall be responsible for the general remodeling construction of the restrooms. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major work items: 1. Demolition and removal of original bathroom fixtures, drain lines, waterlines, electrical wiring, switches and receptacles, lighting, ventilation, wall heater, wall and floor tile, and ceiling tile. 2. Installation of new plumbing (drain line, waterline, and water hammer arrestor). 3. Installation of new fixtures. 4. Installation of new shower stalls. 5. Installation of new toilet paper and paper towel dispensers, all ADA grab bars, and mirrors. 6. Remove and dispose of existing entry doors and replace with doors as shown on plans, including all concrete block wall demolition, repair and extensions, door jamb installation, lintel construction and finishing per plans. 7. Installation of floor and wall tiles. 8. Installation of new ceiling grid and tile. 9. Installation of all electrical including but not limited to wire, lighting, switches, receptacles, occupancy sensors, and unit heater 10. Installation of ventilation. B. This listing is not all inclusive and bidders are referred to the Contract Documents for other work items. C. Any damage to existing structures/improvements during construction shall be repaired at the expense of the Contractor. D. The Contractor shall be responsible for paying all bills for temporary utility services from the start of construction until the date of Substantial Completion. E. The Contractor shall contact City of Warren Codes Department as appropriate, to coordinate building inspections. Building inspection fees will be paid by the Owner directly to the inspection agency. The Owner will obtain all necessary building permits. Contractor shall coordinate with building inspector to arrange for all building inspections and shall maintain the UCC Inspection Log at the site.
