This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12445526Q0013 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for repairing the Elijah Fishing Pier on the Allegheny National Forest. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction The small business size standard is $45,000,000.00 This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. The government estimates the magnitude for all base items will be between $25,000 and $100,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. PROJECT LOCATION The Allegheny National Forest is awarding a contract for the rehabilitation of the Elijah Run Fishing Pier. The pier is located near the Elijah Run Boat Launch in McKean County, Pennsylvania. From Warren, PA head east on US Highway 6. Turn left on PA-59 E/Kinzua Road and travel 9.8 miles. Turn right on Forest Road 262/Longhouse Scenic Drive and go 4.4 miles. Turn left into the Elijah Run Boat Launch Parking Area. The fishing pier is located 600 feet from the parking area along the Lakeshore Trail. Coordinates: 41.820541, -78.948471. 2. SUMMARY OF WORK This project consists of removal and replacement of the existing truss deck, repair of the truss toe plate, replacement of cross bracing for both bents, installation of new anchor brackets for column attachment to footing, repair of platform decking and rail, and ancillary work as shown on the drawings or required by the specifications. The Contractor shall field verify the site conditions, truss and bent conditions and dimensions, and verify fit and clearance prior to beginning work. Any conditions requiring a modification in the work shall be reported to the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer Representative (COR) within 24 hours of determination. Note that water levels are subject to change. No additional costs to the Government will be incurred due to varying water levels.
