The Mission Road Gravity Sewer Replacement Phase III project in Cartersville, Georgia includes the installation of approximately 4,000 linear feet of 15-inch, 12-inch, and 8-inch PVC and DIP gravity sewers to be constructed via a combination of open cut, open trench, pipebursting, and boring & jacking methods. The project also includes 26 manholes, service connections, sewer bypass pumping, abandonment of the existing gravity sewer system, traffic and erosion controls, and all related appurtenances. The project includes limited water system improvements and all related appurtenances. The project will include various and complete site restoration measures. The time allowed for Substantial Completion from the date of Notice to Proceed is 210 consecutive calendar days. The project has a maximum time for total completion which shall not exceed 240 consecutive calendar days from the starting date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the Owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the Owner in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the Contract or, in lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, or cash in equal amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities, and to re-advertise.
