Site work and new construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Calais, Alberta. Completed plans call for the construction of a 16,000-square-foot, one-story above grade, 12-bed elderly care / assisted living facility; and for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility.

The geotechnical investigation was conducted for the proposed Victor Lake Indigenous Elders Lodge. A preliminary site plan with proposed building location and testhole locations was forwarded to our firm by Riddell Kurczaba Architecture Engineering Interior Design Ltd. prior to drilling. At the time of this report; the design of the proposed lodge building was not finalized; however, it is estimated that the building footprint will be approximately 16,000 square feet in size. The building will be heated on a year-round basis, and it is understood that a one-level basement may be considered. It is also understood that an access road approximately 300 metres in length is proposed, running east-west, approaching the building site from the east. TIMELINE: Construction started in October, 2023 and occupancy is expected in early 2025.
