Scope of work for the Base Bid - New West Haven Splash Pad Project Consists of installing a new 2,500 square feet splash pad with water recirculation and disinfection systems to include 37 water features including 1 activator; 2-3 color spray deck with 5.5 concrete depth; five (5) knee walls @ 10-foot lengths; utility room including equipment pumps, sand filter, manifold, control panel, levelor, chemical controller; buried 3,000 gallon tank, water connection, electrical connection, concrete sidewalk connections meeting ADA/TDLR requirements and training staff (2 seasonal cycles for shut down and seasonal start up with Operational Manual) in accordance with all other Federal, State and Local Standards and Codes. Bidder agrees that if his/her Bid is accepted by the County, he will complete all work called for under the Contract Documents on or before 120 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed, and if the work is not completed by such time, he/she agrees to pay to the County as liquidated damages, the sum of Two Hundred Dollars and no/100 ($200.00) for each calendar day after such time that the work remains incomplete, calculated in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents.
