Hillside Senior Citizen Lodge, 4801 - 53 Avenue, Two Hills, Alberta. Eagle Hill Lodge, 5303 - 49 Street, Willingdon, Alberta. .1 Supply and install new standby generator to provide full power to the building. .2 Generator to be a self-contained unit in a weatherproof enclosure. .3 Due to limited space in the respective sites electrical room, a new service entrance distribution switchgear complete with automatic transfer switch is to be supplied and installed outside of the building. .4 The existing secondary underground service is to be located and re-routed to the new service entrance switchgear. .5 Existing underground service conductor may be reused if possible. .6 Concrete pads for supports for the generator and service entrance distribution enclosure are to be provided. .7 All Existing gas, water and electrical services are to be located and identified prior to any excavation being carried out. Exact location of generator and service entrance equipment is to be confirmed on site. .8 Existing metering equipment is to be removed. .9 Existing secondary feeder conductors are to be removed if unable to be reused. .10 Contractor to avoid the asbestos areas as per the asbestos reports. If the contractor is required to run the feeders through such areas, they are to notify the owner or owner’s representative prior to commencing work. Refer to the asbestos reports in Section 26 99 01 and Section 26 99 02. .11 For underground feeders running from the utility transformer to the location of the new generator, the Contractor is to avoid the damage to the roots of all trees. Contractor to coordinate with the Building Manager prior to trenching. Contractor to arrange for hydrovac services for underground feeders if required. .12 Contractor to coordinate the installation of the new generator and underground feeders to avoid damage to the property. Contractor to remove trees for the installation of the new generator upon coordination and confirmation from the owner or owner’s representative as required. .13 Contractor to provide a separate price for asbestos abatement complete with all associated costs. Provide line-item cost breakdown of labour and materials.
