Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Asheville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Magnolia Park playground is being renovated with new equipment and new flatwork. This scope of work includes, but is not limited to, grading, asphalt, fencing, concrete, coordination with playground equipment, playground surfacing, planting and h/c ramps. Deadline to Submit Questions Friday, March 25 at 3pm Construction Start June 2022 Attendance to the Pre-Bid meeting is highly encouraged but not mandatory. Attendance will be taken and will be shared in the addendum. The City Asheville Business Inclusion Policy and the City Drug-Free Workplace Policy will be explained during the virtual pre-bid meeting. The Asheville Business Inclusion Policy requires Minority and Women Business Enterprise outreach on City contracts. Additionally, N.C.G.S. 143-128.2 requires minority and women business outreach for building construction projects requiring the below provided information to be reported to the State of North Carolina Office of Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB).
