Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway; road / highway; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and bridge / tunnel.

The New Mexico Department of Transportation (Department) District 3 is soliciting Letters of Interest (LOI) from prospective Proposers interested in providing Design-Build (DB) services for the design and construction of I-25 Improved,Comanche toMontgomeryProject. The Project will generally consist of improvements to I-25,the I-25/ComancheRoadinterchangeand I-25/Montgomery Blvd interchangein Albuquerque, NM. Improvementsincludenew interchange bridgesat Montgomery and Comanche, additional interstate and auxiliary lanes, frontage road improvements, advanced U-turns for frontage road circulation, new braided structuresbetween Comanche and Montgomeryinterchanges, widening of the I-25 and frontage road bridges over the AMAFCA North DiversionChannel, and adjacent local streetimprovements. On the RFP Procurement webpage, instructions for viewing Project background information will be periodically posted for DB teams by the Department as the Project moves forward through the development and delivery phases. The Department will also post a listing ofLOI's received, along with contact information, to the RFP Procurement webpage. The Department is seeking DB teams that are committed to quality and have extensive and proven experience with roadway, structures, and utility reconstruction of the nature anticipated on this project. The Department expects to see interested Contractors who will bring innovative DB approaches to achieve the project goals, including quality and timely completion, and are willing to partner with the Department for the mutual success of the Project. The Department reserves the sole right, without incurring any liability, to change any aspect of the proposed procurement described above, including the right not to proceed with the procurement and/or the right to proceed in a different manner or on a different timeline than as described above.
