A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: This RFP-Request for Proposal, is an invitation for qualified Developers to create a Downtown Apopka mixed-use project consisting of retail, office, and/or residential development using 3.43 acres of property purchased from the City. The project must adhere to all applicable zoning and development laws, which must be confirmed by the Developer. Developer for Downtown Apopka Station Street Project. The selected Proposer must be licensed to do business in the State of Florida and perform under the laws of the State of Florida. Upon submittal a bid bond is required via cashier's check, certified check or a proposer's bond in the amount of $10,000, made payable to the City of Apopka. Said check or bond shall be given as guarantee that the proposer will enter into a contract with the owner. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
