The County of Lake Administrative Office seeks qualification statements from experienced planning and engineering firms or independent contractors (CONTRACTOR) that are interested and available to perform as-needed County-assigned environmental assessments and to prepare project reports and support documents for review by [as contracted] County staff. CONTRACTORS will work for the County and will be compensated at pre-approved rates. Familiarity with the County's zoning ordinance is preferable, while significant experience with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) is essential. All questions regarding this Request for Qualifications may be submitted in writing at any time prior to Wednesday, September 8, 2021, 4:00 p.m. to the Assistant County Administrative Officer at: susan.parker@lakecountyca.gov. Only written questions will be accepted. Questions will be answered by Friday, September 10, 2021, 5:00 p.m County reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of any proposal, waive immaterial defects, informalities, irregularities, negotiate with all qualified Respondents, and award the contract to the firm or individuals, who, in the sole judgment of the County, best serves the interests of the County. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
