Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Lakeport, California. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Upsize or improve 6 culverts in the Valley Fire burn area. Project will consist of removing and/or upgrading existing culverts and end treatments, minor grading of existing drainage ditches, erosion control and site paving to replace removed HMA surfacing. Questions may be directed, in writing only, to John Everett at fax number (707) 263-7748. Deadline for submittal of written questions is 4:00 p.m. on August 26, 2021. Bidders are advised that, as required by federal law, the County of Lake is implementing Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements for this project. The DBE goal for this project is (15%) fifteen percent. These wage rates will be checked and provided to Planholders 10 (ten) days prior to the bid opening for the project. Changes in general prevailing wage determinations apply to the Contract when the Director of Industrial Relations has issued them at least 10 days before advertisement (Labor Code 1773.6 and 8 CA Code of Regulations 16204). All labor on this project shall be paid at not less than the greater of the minimum wage rates established by the U.S. Secretary of Labor (Federal Wage Rates), or by the State of California's Director of Industrial Relations (State Wage Rates)), in accordance with the provisions of these specifications
