The Columbus Consolidated Government (The City) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a turnkey, fully operational, secure and reliable inmate telephone system designed to improve the management and control of inmate telephone usage in the Muscogee County Prison. Telephone system should include the provision of a mobile for isolation units, and a video visitation system for dorm units. Contract renewal shall be contingent upon the mutual agreement of the City and the Contractor. Notice of intent to renew will be given to the contractor in writing by the Purchasing Manager, normally sixty days before the expiration date of the current contract. This notice shall not be deemed to commit the City to a Contract renewal. The City reserves the right to award this project or to reject any and all proposals; whichever is in the best interest of the City.
