Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Hood River, Oregon. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The County of Hood River requests proposals from General Contractors (GC) to provide General Contractor services for a Capital Improvement Project. The project scope will create a new entry vestibule for the existing County Courthouse building pursuant to the Permit Set of drawings prepared by Soderstrom Architects. This project will occur between November 2021 and approximately May 2022. The County may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public procurement procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause any or all proposals on a finding of the County that it is in the public interest to do so. The County of Hood River reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all informalities in the best interest of the County. The County is not liable for any costs incurred by General Contractors in replying to the RFP or in preparing for or delivering any oral presentations that may be required during the selection process. The selected General Contractor will perform construction work in accordance with the rendering shown in Exhibit B. The selected GC will work with the County staff. The County reservesthe right to negotiate details of the scope with the successful GC following selections and prior to signing the agreement for services.
