The project consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary for sewer laterals repairs, replacements, cleaning and associated work in the following Towns and/or Cities: Branford, Cheshire, East Haven, Hamden, Milford, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Orange, West Haven, Woodbridge, Derby, Ansonia, and Seymour and any future towns due to expansion of PipeSafe Programs. The foregoing is a general description only, and shall not be construed as a complete description of the Work to be performed for this Project. Bids must be submitted on the bid proposal form, which is included in the bid documents, and accompanied by the required documents no later than the time proscribed in this advertisement. Contract commencement and completion time will be in accordance with the Contract and Agreement. Bidders will be required to furnish information regarding their qualifications to perform the Work as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. Previous experience of the bidders or subcontractors is required in the types of work to be performed under this Contract. The attention of Bidders is called to the requirements of non-discrimination in employment practices and conditions of employment. The Authority will not knowingly do business with providers of goods or services that are known to discriminate. The Authority encourages responses to its purchasing needs from women-owned and minority businesses. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid within 60 calendar days after the date set for the receipt thereof. In the event that the South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority requires more than 60 calendar days after the actual date of the receipt of Bids and the selected, qualified Bidder does not grant an extension of time, the Authority reserves the right to award the Contract to another qualified Bidder who does grant an extension of time to award.
