Renovation of a civil project in Cincinnati, Ohio. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

As of December 2022, the project has been cancelled. Information on a potential re-bid has not been released. The scope of this project includes influent pumping upgrades and the addition of an HRT Facility for wet weather capacity at the existing MUWWTP. The influent pumping upgrades include the addition of a new influent screening facility and influent pump station with firm capacity of 52 MGD, expandable to 122 MGD. The HRT improvements include new treatment, disinfection, and effluent pumping with firm capacity of 24 MGD, expandable to 94 MGD. HRT accessory structures including flushing and dewatering systems, sample systems, HVAC, and electrical/controls will be housed in an HRT operations building. Interceptor sewers will be consolidated, rerouted, and upsized to accommodate the improvements and provide capacity for future basin improvements. The MUWWTP electrical distribution (including new primary switchgear) and NPW systems will be upgraded to accommodate the IPS and HRT improvements. Sitework will include removal of the interior berm between the secondary clarifiers and the former ash lagoon, elevating the western flood control levee by five feet, and general improvements for access. Provisions for future HRT grit removal are included. The existing influent pump station will be decommissioned.
