New construction of a parking garage in St George, Utah. Completed plans call for the construction of a 139,080-square-foot, four-story above grade parking garage.

As of September 17, 2021, construction is expected to start next month. New Parking Structure with an Enclosed Basement plus Four-Story Tiered Open Parking Garage above, with a Top Deck for serving the Washington County Administration Building and other County Venues within the proximity of this structure. Deck is only accessible through stairs or elevators, no vehicle access to the deck. All floors, beams and columns are designed as a cast in place post tension system. Fire sprinklers are required in the basement only, and standpipes to the roof deck as shown. Fire sprinkler system to be dry! Standpipes to deck should connect to the FDC. Fire sprinklers are a deferred submittal. Roofing contractor to provide gutters, and downspouts to interior of top floor only. Plumbing contractor to run downspout once inside the structure. CCTV, and Card access needs have already been procured. Electrical contractor to work with Stream Technologies to confirm the needs for conduit and raceways for all low volt systems. There will be no drilling of the slab, or beams once poured, so all MEPS rough in will need to be in place prior to pouring. This project will have a start date of approx. Sept. 22nd 2021, and will need to be completed within 8 Months. There will be a small laydown yard to the east of the project in the existing parking area. This is a tight schedule, the County's parking will be greatly impacted during the construction of this structure, hence the need to finish as early as possible. If any contractor see's an issue with the schedule, please address it during bid time. Excavation/ demolition will start Sept. 22nd, Concrete contractor should plan on starting by November 1st. Please provide durations to complete your work on your bid! Questions are due by 8-20-2021. An addendum will be issued by the end of the day on the 24th. This structure is part of the on going administration building, but no preference is being given to contractors already working on the project. Contracts will be awarded to the lowest/most qualified bidder. Contractors ability to meet the schedule will have impact on whether or not they are chosen to do the job.
