All bidders must use our bid form and must show on face of envelope containing bid, the inquiry number and opening date. Failure to comply with this may result in your bid not being considered. Signature on bid must be in ink. Bids made out in pencil will Not be accepted. Bid must be Notarized. The contract shall be for a period of one (1) year with an option to extend it for two (2) additional years. An extension shall be by mutual consent of both parties to the contract. The option to extend shall be executed annually. 2.1.2 This contract shall commence on October 1, 2021, and terminate on September 30, 2022, unless extended. 2.2 Vendors shall quote a fixed rate per cubic yard for these items: Cement Flowable Fill, Excavatable Cement Flowable Fill, Non-Excavatable For additional information or questions concerning this bid contact the Lee County Highway Department, at (334) 737-7011. The County reserves the right to evaluate all bids, waive any technicalities or informalities and to reject any and/or all bids and proposals, and further specifically reserves the right to make the award and/or awards in the best interest of the County. The County may waive minor differences in specifications provided these differences do not violate the specification intent nor materially affect the operation for which the item or items are being purchased. County reserves the right to award bids as a whole unit or on an individual item basis or such combination as shall be in the best interest of the County.
