Site work for a water / sewer project in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Twinning of water transmission mains at three locations throughout the City: 1) North Reservoir Area - installation of approx. 1,650m of 500mm diameter PVC water main, including tie-in to existing mains with valve additions, installation of launch and extraction points, and replacement of asphalt concrete. 2) Southview Dr. SE - installation of approx. 165m of 600mm diameter PVC water main, replacement of approx. 30 m of 250-400mm diameter transite water main with 250-600 mm diameter PVC water main, which includes tie-ins to existing mains with valve additions, installation of launch and extraction points on the existing transmission main, replacement of associated asphalt & concrete, temporary water supply plans, bypass sanitary, and sewer pumping. TIMELINE: Projects are currently pending capital funding approvals. Funding may be considered as part of the 2027/2028 and the 2028/2029 budget cycles. Further update in 2026.
