The City Assets Department has identified a need to develop a comprehensive mid-term and long-term strategy to provide water and sanitary servicing to the NW Sector of the city. The main goals of this project are to: Identify water demands and sanitary sewage loads for the current service areas and planned expansion areas, including the NW Industrial Park. Assess the capacity of current system components including booster station pumps, transmission mains, trunk sewers, and sewage lift stations Develop strategies for expanding service to the NW Sector, including booster station expansions, water transmission main extensions, lift station and forcemain construction, and trunk sanitary sewer construction. Identify water demand and sanitary sewage load flow benchmarks for different stages of system expansion Prepare high-level cost estimates for recommended system expansions.
