A detailed scope has not yet been determined This project is included in the city's 2023 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of September 12, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. ____________________________________________________ The project area includes these two SSO s and approximately 6,000 feet of existing sewer in Sycamore Township south of Trebor Drive, from Belfast Avenue to Tudor Court, in Hamilton County, Ohio. The sewer was constructed between 1940 and 1948 and is severely deteriorated. SSO 704 was constructed in 1952 to relieve basement flooding and SSO 603 was installed at an unknown date. Both SSOs are classified as Generally Active SSO s. ReferenceTable 1 below for recorded number of activations (overflows) for the two SSO s. SSOs 603 and SSO 704 are located in the Cooper Creek Basin of the East Branch Mill Creek Sewer Shed. The anticipated term of the contract resulting from this RFQ is 8 years. This includes three phases: planning, design, and construction phase engineering services. Services provided in the planning phase include, but are not limited to, project management,geotechnical and surveying services, risk assessment, modeling, and cost estimating. Offer or shall provide all engineering services to prepare a Business Case Evaluation that considers up to three alternatives to eliminate modeled overflows at SSO 603 and SSO 704 for the 10-year, 24-hour storm without creating new overflows downstream of the SSOs. This may include repair or replacement of the existing 6,000 feet of existing 15-inch and 18-inch diameter sanitary sewer and should also consider implementation plans developed in the SSO 700 IWAP study. The selected Offer or may utilize the existing calibrated and validated model developed for the SSO 700 IWAP. Services provided in the detailed engineering design phase include but are not limited to, project management, public relation/community outreach, permit coordination and preparation, risk assessment, estimating, updating easement drawings, and completing detailed design. Offer or shall provide all engineering and other detailed designed services to prepare construction plans and details, specifications, easement documents, and opinion of probable construction cost of the proposed improvements. Services that may be provided in the construction phase include, but are not limited to, bid phase assistance, construction administration, field engineering and post-construction stream andecological monitoring.
