Site work, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Vernon, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) invites proposals from qualified Construction Managers for the new Mission Hill Water Treatment Plant (MHWTP) located at 3380 Reservoir Road (Appendix D). The project will utilize a Construction Management Contract - for Services and Construction (CCDC 5B) for both Phase 1 (Services) and Phase 2 (Construction). Water is currently pumped from the Kalamalka Lake Pump Station to the existing Mission Hill Disinfection Facility. The new plant will add filtration and associated water treatment processes to provide provincially compliant potable water year-round. The new facility will be sized to produce 55 ML/d of firm production and will comprise of a single multi-storey building that will be connected to the existing transmission mains. The facility consists of approximately 42 rooms and 2600 m2 of floor area, with most space dedicated to water treatment processes. The primary water filtration process includes coagulation, clarification using dissolved air flotation, filtration and chlorination. Question Deadline 07/21/2026 at 4:00 PM
