Generally describes work that includes, but is not limited replacement of the failing bridge generator which is physically attached to the bridge structure. The new generator and enclosed building will be constructed on the south end of the bridge (east side of Rte 106) and located on VDOT's right-of-way between the roadway and Jordan Point Yacht Marina. The project is generally described as including but not limited to the removal and replacement of the failing bridge generator which is currently located and attached to the bridge structure. A new generator and single story pre-engineered/pre-cast building enclosure will be constructed on the south end of the bridge. A five percent (5%) bid bond is required to accompany this bid. When required bid shall be accompanied by a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2, payable to the Owner as obligee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Failure to submit the bid bond on the Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond, Form CO-10.2 will result in the bid being considered non-responsive Registered participants will receive an email calendar invite with all associated meeting credentials.
