Renovation of a mixed-use development in Newark, Delaware. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The owner has selected a Construction Manager. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. The awarded Construction Manager are Whiting Turner Contracting Co. and Bancroft Construction. Christina School District is beginning a series of ESSER funded HVAC System Renovations projects. The first three projects are: 1. Replacement of the HVAC System @ Brader ES, Est. Project Budget - $9,630,000 2. Replacement of the HVAC System @ Shue-Medill MS (Medill side), Est. Project Budget - $7,670,520 3. And, replacement of the classroom HVAC units @ Jones ES, Est. Project Budget - $2,854,000. Christina School District is looking for a Construction Management firm or firms to provide Construction Management Services for the ESSER funded HVAC System Renovations projects. Subject to available funding, the Christina School District may include other schools in addition to the three listed above within this RFP. Each additional school will have its own project budget established. The services will be required for all phases of pre-construction and construction. The Construction Manager will participate and coordinate all facets of capital improvements Deadline for Questions Date: September 14, 2021 Response to Questions Posted by: Date: September 17, 2020 All requests, questions, or other communications about this RFP shall be made in writing to the Christina School District. Address all communications to the person listed below; communications made to other Christina School District personnel or attempting to ask questions by phone or in person will not be allowed or recognized as valid and may disqualify the vendor.
