Description: The maintenance elevator maintenance will be performed at the following locations: Location 1: Kinneary US Courthouse - 85 Marconi Blvd., Columbus OH 43215 Location 2: Bricker Federal Building - 200 N. High Street, Columbus, OH 43215 Location 3: Bricker Parking Garage - 200 N. High Street, Columbus, OH 43215 Location 4: Rice Federal Building & US Courthouse - 200 W. Second Street, Dayton, OH 45402 THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% UNRESTRICTED". This Synopsis is for the purpose of Pre-Solicitation Notification Only. NO SOLICITATION IS ATTACHED. A SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT December 28, 2021. Project Summary Description: This project includes, but is not limited to, the following: The Contractor will be tasked with providing performance based elevator maintenance service to ensure the safety of the building elevators and to maintain the building assets. The contractor will provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, repair parts, tools, and shall plan, schedule, coordinate and ensure effective and economical completion of all work and services specified. All elevator equipment shall be operated and/or maintained at the highest levels of efficiency compatible with the current energy conservation requirements, nationally recognized codes, and standards, and maintained at an acceptable level, throughout the contract performance period. The Contractor shall be responsible for performing all work under this contract in accordance with all Federal, State, County, City laws and codes, and follow the more stringent of them. In addition to compliance with these laws, the Contractor shall follow all applicable standard industry practices including, but not limited to: Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA). The performance period for elevator maintenance services will commence on July 1, 2022 for a base one- year period, June 30, 2023. The start date will ensure uninterrupted service to the facility for this requirement. There are four one-year options that may be exercised. The option periods will cover performance The option periods will cover performance from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, July 1, 2024 through June 30,2025, July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026 and July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 respectively. This procurement is open to all business concerns. Woman owned, Veteran owned, Service Disabled Veteran owned, HUBZone and Small Disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to submit an offer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238290 with a size standard of $16.5 million. This is a negotiated procurement. Best Value method will be used to determine awardee. Evaluation factors will consist of Past Performance and Total Evaluated Price. The solicitation package with the Request for Proposal will be available on or about Tuesday December 28, 2021 on beta.sam Government entry website. Offer due date and time for receipt of proposals will be Thursday January 27, 2022 at 3:00 pm EST.
