The VA will not be responsible for storage of equipment, materials, or tools. This request is a follow-on installation to the existing Des Moines VA Campus Wide physical security entry system which was manufactured by Hirsch Manufacturing and was competitively bid more than 5 years ago which established the Hirsch Manufacturer as the standard for this medical center. The Hirsch physical security system does not allow integration of other system's components but requires the use of their propriety components to operate. The Hirsch system monitors the medical center's campus entry security which allows the VA Police to monitor the campus and respond quickly to the exact location of the disturbance. The main items of this project include: - Provide & Install new door controller. - Provide and install full access control & locks on 3 doors in building 4. - Provide & install all the required cabling and labor needed for the job. - Electronic Safety & Security - Provide and install one Hirsch MX-8-N3-FICAM 8 door controller. - Provide and install full access control on door 1140 RQI. - Provide and install full access control on door 2130 Auditorium. - Provide and install full access control on door 2109 Telecom. - Provide and install Lock power supply. Provide and cut in electric locks on the three doors. - Electrical - Provide electrical labor and conduit for a 20amp circuit for the new panel. - Provide all cable, cable installation and misc. material to complete the installation. - Provide all required labor technician labor to pull cable and install all devices
