The work involves the construction of all facilities at two new well sites including site preparation, equipping 2 new wells with pumping equipment, above ground wellsite piping valves, and fittings, approximately 750 feet of buried 18-inch piping, site improvements including a masonry wall on one well site, for the Lake Havasu City public water supply system. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: $2,733,000 This project consists of well site improvements, equipping two new water supply wells with well pumps, motors, piping and valves, and the construction of buried piping to connect the new wells to the Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Also included is startup services of the new facilities and other miscellaneous activities for the Contractor to provide a fully functioning well system capable of delivering the design rate of 2,800 gpm or more to the WTP. All questions that arise relating to this solicitation shall be directed in writing to purchasing@lhcaz.gov . To be considered, written inquiries shall be received at the above-referenced email address by September 15, 2021, 3:00 p.m. Arizona Time. Inquiries received will then be answered in an Addendum. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the Project Number and the bidder's name and address clearly indicated on the envelope. All bids must be completed in ink or typewritten on a form to be obtained from the specifications and a complete Invitation for Bid returned along with the offer no later than the time and date cited. Project Completion Date: 230 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
