Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Grass Valley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The scope of work, in general, includes; Asphalt concrete pavement removal, hot mix asphalt paving, and thermoplastic pavement marking and striping. Other related items not mentioned above, that are required by the plans, specifications or these Special Provisions shall be performed, placed, constructed, or installed. Project Location: Freeman lane from Mill Street to West McKnight Street and La Barr Meadows Road from East McKnight to the Grass Valley City Limits. The time of completion shall consist of 25 Working Days No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. The City of Grass Valley reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any minor defects or irregularity in bidding in accordance with applicable law. In accordance with California Public Contract Code Section 20103.8, if the City elects to award a contract for performance of the project, the contract will be awarded in accordance with California Public Contract Code Section 20162 and other applicable law to the responsible bidder submitting a responsive bid with the lowest total bid price for the base bid without consideration of the bid price for any additive or deductive items. All bids will remain valid for 90 days after the bid opening. Except as permitted by law and subject to all applicable remedies, including forfeiture of bidders security, bidders may not withdraw their bid during the 90 day period after the bid opening. 2179
