Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Wilmington, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.
Pre-bid Meeting: No Location: New Castle County The improvements consist of furnishing all labor and materials for constructing a two-way separated bikeway on Delaware Avenue from Orchard Road to Library Ave. Associated roadway construction will include but not limited to the pavement reconstruction of the College Ave. intersection, PCC pavement reconstruction between S. Chapel Street and Tyre Ave. PCC pavement removal and replaced with HMA between Tyre Ave and Library Avenue. New signal placement at the signalized intersections with the addition of separate bike signals. Sidewalk reconstruction and lighting improvements. All work on this contract must be complete within 390 Calendar Days. The Contract Time includes an allowance for 66 Weather Days. The Department's intent is to issue a Notice to Proceed for work to start on or about November 8, 2021. The Performance Rating for Each Contractor Shall Be Used as a Prequalification to Bid at the Time of Bid. Refer to 'general Notices' for Details.
