Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code and be licensed to perform the work called for in the contract documents. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active A or B license at time of bid and license must be valid through project completion. The Contractor's California State License number shall be clearly stated on the Bid Form. Subcontractors shall be licensed pursuant to California law for the trades necessary to perform the work called for in the contract documents and license must be valid through project completion. Each bid must strictly conform with and be responsive to the contract documents as defined in the General Conditions. The DISTRICT reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding. Separate payment and performance bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount, are required, and shall be provided to the DISTRICT prior to execution of the contract and shall be in the form set forth in the contract documents. All bonds (Bid, Performance, and Payment) must be issued by a California admitted surety as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120. Contractor to: o Grade basin per plans and indicated elevations, o Provide and install Jordan trench drain model # V7383 or equivalent, o Provide and install 2 - 12" x 12" inlet frame and grate per plan, o Provide and install 1 - 12" x 12" bubble up emitter, o Repair and reconfigure irrigation, due to excavation, o Install approximately 160' X 611 schedule 40 pvc, o Patch concrete in around new trench drain, o Export base removed from trench drain, o Export soil excavated from basin, o Hydro seed excavated areas, o Provide erosion control as per plans, and o Saw cut at V drain for inlet, if necessary.
