Renovation of a municipal facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Workers’ Compensation Board - Alberta (WCB) is seeking the services of three (3) General Contractors to service Edmonton and area and three (3) General Contractors to service Calgary and area for the provision of consultation, design and construction services as requested by the WCB for minor residential and/or workplace modifications for Injured Workers. It is the expectation that Contractor(s) from the Edmonton area will provide services from Red Deer North and Contractor(s) from the Calgary area will provide services from Red Deer South. The anticipated value of each such project shall be a maximum of up to thirty thousand ($30,000.00) and shall not require structural changes. Where a project exceeds the dollar value stipulated above and/or where a project will require structural changes; the Claim Owner shall refer the project to the WCB contracted Residential and Workplace Modifications Consultant who is responsible for soliciting the services. The WCB does not warrant that any specific number of projects will be required during the term. The services of selected Contractors will be non-exclusive. Selected Contractors will provide quotes for Work that meets the requirements of Occupational Therapy Home Assessments. These quotes, and subsequent modifications, are subject to WCB approval. The WCB reserves the right to solicit further quotes from third parties at its discretion.
