Site work for a water / sewer project in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The intent of this RFP is to find a Successful Proponent capable of providing the Work described immediately below. EPCOR is performing modifications at Rossdale Substation, located at 9469 Rossdale Road, Edmonton, Alberta, and is seeking a qualified contractor to perform the following: Replacement of an existing transformer pad (TX3) with a new pad; Installation of new transformer containment with high-density polyethylene (HDPE)lines and geotextile; Installation of new reinforced concrete duct banks, must be installed from the new transformer pad to suite new transformer cable specification, including a Protection & Control (P&C) duct bank; Demolition of the existing power cable and control duct banks and construct new duct banks; Accomodating transformer transport; Any conductive structure (permanent or temporary) must be bonded to the Owner's ground grid during construction; and Perform site remediation which includes, but is not limited to, backfill area and install fire quenching stones.
