Site work for a water / sewer project in Graysville, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed Bids for the construction of Project No. 472-K, Natural Gas Facilities Replacement, Sections 1: Area's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 The scope of work shall include the installation of the following approximate items of work and quantities of these items: SECTION 1: 2" PE Pipe, 11,320 L.F.; 1-1/4" PE Pipe, 355 L.F.; 1" PE Pipe, 30 L.F.; 3/4 " PE Service Line, 1,280 L.F.; 1/2 " PE Service Line, 2,195 L.F.; 2" PE Valves, 13 Each; 2" Bores, 1,840 L.F.; 1-1/4" Bores, 65 L.F.; Service Bores, 440 L.F.; 2" PE to 4" PE Connections, 3 Each; 2" PE to 2" PE Connections, 6 Each; 2" PE to 1-1/4" PE Connections, 2 Each; 1-1/4" PE to 1-1/4" PE Connections, 2 Each; 2-1/4" C.I. Stopple Fitting, 1 Each; Service Reconnections, 34 Each; Service Replacements, 29 Each; and other miscellaneous necessary items. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract. These bonds shall be executed by a licensed Surety Company in the state in which this work is being performed. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond executed by a Surety Company, licensed in the state the work is to be performed, in the amount of five (5) percent of the total bid. A Certified Check payable to the Owner in the amount of five (5) percent of the total Bid is also acceptable. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities and technicalities therein. No Bidder will be allowed to withdraw his Bid, without Owner's consent, for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of actual bid opening. Each Bidder shall be a licensed Contractor in accordance with the regulations of the State of Alabama and must include the license number, expiration date and classification on the outside of the sealed bid envelope.
