General Scope: The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, parts, supervision, and quality control necessary to gut and renovate approximately 4,400 square feet of space centrally located on the 4th floor of the existing Durham VA Medical Center. To maintain adequate patient flow from twelve (12) OR s to PACU beds the VA will expand the PACU into the adjoining pain care clinic. PACU expansion will provide sixteen (16) recovery bays and one (1) isolation room. The existing PACU has eight (8) recovery bays and one (1) isolation recovery room. The work is to be accomplished in phases. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
