The work also includes the extension of the existing SR 44 eastbound left turn lane, reconfiguration of the existing median opening, signage, striping, communications facilities, and other work as shown on the contract drawings. The work includes the new traffic signal, extension of the existing SR 44 eastbound left turn lane at Canal Street, reconfiguration of the existing median opening, signage, striping, communications facilities, maintenance of traffic, and coordination with all involved agencies (FDOT, Volusia County, City of New Smyrna Beach).
