The scope of this work includes programming and design for a complete and operational life safety system including, but not limited to the following: o Emergency Master Panels, o Fire Control Panels, o Annunciators, Initiating and Supervisory Devices, o Smoke and Fire Detection Equipment, o Upgrades to Exit Doors and integration with Emergency Fire System, o Upgrade to Existing Camera System and Additional Camera Equipment, o Emergency Phone Communications and/or more current technology Design firm shall have visited the site to determine complete scope and components needed for a complete system, engaging the SFCC Community in the programming process, working with Safety and Security and Facilities and Operations for support and direction. The complete scope of the work shall be documented in a program to be approved by SFCC prior to commencement of the design phase. All new fire alarm panels shall be compatible with all field initiation devices as well as all notification appliances. A single proprietary system is not desirable. Contract shall include regular progress reports, assistance with bidding, construction administration and commissioning during the construction phase. All components specified shall include a minimum 5-year warranty.
