This project is located at 401 E. Brown Street, Wylie, Texas 75098. Project includes construction of a 2 story, 40,000 square foot Administration Building and Maintenance Facility which includes 24,000 square feet of office space along with 16,000 square feet of adjacent maintenance space. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to North Texas Municipal Water District in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid submitted. Contractor must execute the contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Contractors for this Project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the Owner and included in the contract documents. Performance and Payment Bonds are required, each in an amount of not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract and upon payment of all persons supplying labor or furnishing materials. All questions must be submitted in writing, posted to , prior to 72 hours before the bid opening. The North Texas Municipal Water District reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities.
