For US Highway 50 Waterline Improvements The major items of work include water line improvements:, 8 linear feet 6" C900 DR18 PVC Pipe, 3511 linear feet 8" C900 DR18 PVC Pipe, 425 linear feet 8" C900 DR18 Certa-Lok Pipe, 425 linear feet 8" Bore & Encase w/16" Steel Casing, 2 each 6" Gate Valve w/Valve Box, 2 each 8" Gate Valve w/Valve Box, 2 each Waterline Connection, 2 each Fire Hydrant Assembly (3-way), 62 linear feet 1" Service Line w/Tracer Wire, 2 each 1" Service Tie In (incl. Saddle, Corp Stop & Fittings), 4 each Monitoring Station for Tracer Wire, 2 each Waterline Abandonment, 88 square yards Remove & Replace Gravel Surfacing, 30 square yards Remove Pavement & Replace w/Concrete, and other appurtenances. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall accompany each bid in accordance with Instructions to Bidders. Work consists of constructing waterline improvements on US HWY 50 and includes: 1. Furnishing and installing meter, service lines, various fittings, and other appurtenances and accessories. 2. Furnishing and installing gate valves with valve boxes, fire hydrants, various mechanical joint fittings, and other appurtenances and accessories. 3.
