Polymer is used for conditioning domestic wastewater sludge for dewatering on belt filter presses at City Parish Wastewater Treatment Plants. Only cationic polymer emulsion polyacrylamide polymers (cationic EPAM) which meet the following will be considered: 1. Active Polymer Content, 38% minimum 2. Bulk Viscosity, 2,000 cps maximum 3. Flash Point (P-M closed cup), >200 degrees F. 4. Freezing Point, <10 degrees F. 5. Shelf Life, six (6) months minimum 6. No visible product separation, layering of oils, or sedimentation. The average cake solids and average capture for the sampling must meet the following dewatering performance specifications to be eligible for bidding: 1. Cake Solids, 33.0% minimum 2. Solids Capture, 90.0% minimum
