Site work and paving for a road / highway in Nashua, New Hampshire. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
West of Riverside St; sidewalks, crosswalks, bicycle accommodation, lighting and traffic calming measures are needed along the West Hollis St corridor to improve the safety/efficiency of pedestrians and vehicular travel west of Riverside Street. Complaints are frequently received about difficulty entering/departing the corridor from abutting residential streets. A traffic signal or other measure is needed to mitigate high traffic volumes including trucks to/from the landfill. As of October 11, 2024, this project is included in the City of Nashua's FY 2024 CIP. Further information regarding a design firm and timeline for construction has not yet been determined. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
