Abingdon Elementary School Central Plant Replacement Project. Construction contractors wishing to submit proposals issued by Harford County Public Schools shall be pre-qualified by Harford County Public Schools by submitting a Contractor Qualification Statement (AIA Document A305-1986) three (3) days prior to receipt of bids, as described in the solicitation documents, to Harford County Public Schools Planning & Construction Department, 102 South Hickory Avenue, Bel Air, Maryland 21014. Any contractor submitting a bid, please email chuck.grebe@hcps.org or missy.valentino@hcps.org an email address to receive an invitation to attend the TEAMS meeting bid opening. Please submit this email address by close of business Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Each firm will receive an email with a link to access the bid opening. The MBE Goal Percentage for the bid CAG 22-3, Abingdon Elementary School Central Plant Replacement Project shall be 25% with the following subgoals: 8% African American Owned & 11% Women Owned. Instructions pertaining to the bid bond, surety checks and bid performance and materials payment bond requirements are set forth in the specifications and compliance with same shall be the responsibility of the Contractor submitting the bid.
