Renovation of a water / sewer project in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Work consists of the rehabilitation of Filter Basin #4 including dewatering of this filter basin; removal, transfer and re-installation of existing media; provide and install 4 underdrain plenum access hatches; clean and remove media and debris/trash/sludge from the underdrain plenums and other areas of the filter basin; removal of the existing 7,560 media retaining strainers (MSR); provide and install 7,560 new MSRs; repair existing filter baffles; and install 153 tons of filter media. The work shall be performed during normal operating hours for the facility and shall not interfere with other facility operations. The project is located at 9101 WRVA Road, Henrico, VA 23231. Work included in this contract shall be Substantially Complete within 150 calendar days from the date the Contract Time commences, and it shall be complete and ready for final payment within 180 calendar days from the date the Contract Time commences CLARIFICATION DEADLINE : 10/5/2021 11:59 PM
