Replace existing 36" Plastic Storm Drain Approx. 360'on shoulder of MD 300 with new 36"Plastic Drain supplied by SHA. Between MD 290 and Julia Ln in Queen Anne's County i. It is highly recommended prior to bidding for the vendor to consider all aspects of the project, including, but not limited to: ii. Location of the existing pipe to be replaced - located on MD 300 Sudlersville Road between MD 290 and Julia Ln. iii. Final roadway patch dimensions are to be sawcut full-depth. Final Patch is to be repaved full-depth with HMA at the same thickness as existing pavement. iv. Roadway pitch/slope v. Pipe invert vi. Environmental and operational factors vii. Equipment necessary to complete the work including, but not limited to: saw-cutting machine, hydraulic excavator, dump trucks, jumping jack or plate tamper, trench box(es), nuclear density gauge, transit/level, etc. viii. Parking, staging and traffic impacts/concerns - ALL emergency vehicles shall be given priority over normal vehicular traffic All work shall be completed by 6/30/2022. The State Highway Administration (SHA) is soliciting bids for a contractor to Replace the Existing 36" Plastic Drainage Pipe along shoulder of MD 300 between MD 290 and Julia Ln. Remove shoulder pavement and install new 36" Plastic Pipe (SHA PROVIDED) between the first 2 inlets, replace shoulder that was removed with HMA. Vendors are required to review the specification of this procurement before bidding to ensure they bid accordingly.
