Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Akron, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 28,000-square-foot educational facility; and for the addition of a 6,000-square-foot educational facility.
The project will consist of 28,000 SF renovations through the existing school including updates to the main entrance, science classrooms, art classrooms, locker rooms, library, career and technical education area. There will we an addition included for a new career and technical education area of approximately 6,000 sf and a new greenhouse structure included as part of the project, as well, as new site utilities, parking lots, and associated earthwork. BID PACKAGES WHICH ARE RE-BIDDING: o #2 Site Demolition/Earthwork o #3 Site Utilities o #12 Roofing, Sheet Metal, and Metal Panels o #13 Glass and Glazing o #14 Drywall and Ceilings o #15 Flooring and Wall Tile Please direct all inquiries to the construction manager. Addendum #1-#3 have been issued as of 8-12-2022.
