Summary Project Description: The Akron-Westfield CSD Playground project will consist of the installation of new surfacing and equipment, the relocation of existing equipment, and additional updates to the playground area. B. Contract Scope: Design, construction, and demolition. C. Contract Terms: Lump sum (fixed price, stipulated sum). The Akron-Westfield CSD Playground project will consist of updates to the playground and surfacing. Last Request for Substitution Due: 7 days prior to due date of bids. Performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will also be required, guaranteeing faithful performance of the Contractor. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
