Site work and paving for a road / highway in Barrett Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Delaware Forest District, requires services to deliver, paver-place, and compact approximately 1,878 tons of Driving Surface Aggregate (DSA) to Laurel Run Road Phase 2 and Phase 3 for a total of 5,625 feet. The Issuing Office reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive technical defects or any informality in Bids, and to accept or reject any part of any Bid if the best interests of the Commonwealth are thereby served. Duration: Commence upon receipt of purchase order and termination date of June 30, 2022 The Contractor is required, no later than ten (10) days after the Contract Effective Date, to submit performance security in the amount of 10.00 % of the total price of the contract. Performance security must be in the form of a specific performance bond, an irrevocable letter of credit or a certificate of deposit, all in a form acceptable to the Commonwealth, or a certified check or a bank cashier's check drawn to the order of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. All performance security shall be conditioned for faithful performance of the contract or purchase order(s). Failure to provide performance security within ten (10) days after the Contract Effective Date shall be considered an event of default.
