Renovation of a library in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Estimated budget is over $300,000.00 Bids shall be submitted prior to the deadline in an opaque, sealed envelope marked "Elevator Modernization." The successful bidder shall enter into a formal contract based on the conditions and requirements in the Bidding documents and the Bidding Documents will be incorporated into the Contract. The Board of Library Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept all or part of a bid, and to waive any technicalities and irregularities in the bidding. Successful bidders will be required to comply with the provisions of all State of Illinois and federal laws concerning public works projects, including but not limited to the Illinois Human Rights Act and the regulations of the Illinois Human Rights Commission and the Prevailing Wage Act. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. PROJECT COMPLETION DATE: November 1, 2022 It is anticipated that the GEPL will issue its Notice of Award for the Project Work on or about December 21, 2021. The Successful Contractor shall begin the field work on January 10, 2022.
