Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Gardena, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Each bidder must submit a proposal to the City, c/o City Clerk in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. Said proposal is to be accompanied by a cash deposit, a certified or cashier's check, or a bidder's bond, made payable to the City of Gardena, in an amount not less than 10 percent of the total bid submitted. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a faithful performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, and a payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, both in a form satisfactory to the City Attorney The contractor shall have an active Class "A" or "B" license from the Contractor's State License Board at the time of submitting bid. Lead and asbestos abatement work shall be performed by a contractor having the appropriate and legal license and certificates.
