Demolition, site work and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Gardena, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field.
The time of completion of contract shall be [20] working days as defined in the latest Standard Specifications for Public Works (Greenbook). Liquidated Damages, as defined in Section 6-9, shall be $1,000 per each consecutive calendar day, or the true cost of damages to the City of Gardena due to lost revenue or additional expenses, whichever is greater. Early July Notice to Proceed/Start Construction The contractor shall have an active Class C21 & C22 licenses from the Contractors State License Board at the time of submitting bid. Lead and asbestos abatement work shall be done by a contractor having the appropriate legal license and certifications.
