The Contractor shall furnish and be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, and all other items that are necessary to complete the project. The exceptions are those materials, equipment, utilities or services, if any, herein specified to be furnished by the Owner. The Contractor is obligated to furnish all materials, equipment, and labor to complete and test the project even if specific mention of this fact is omitted from any part of the specifications. The purpose of these specifications is the completion of a contract. This work will be performed at the main Middlesex College campus in Edison, New Jersey, at the Main Hall building. The contractor shall provide all of the necessary labor, materials, tools and equipment required to complete the work described on the drawings and in these specifications as follows: The renovations of the two (2) Public Restrooms in Main Hall will be "BASE BID" Work, as indicated on the drawings and in the specifications. The renovations of the two (2) Staff Restrooms in Main Hall will be "ADD ALTERNATE" work, as indicated on the drawings and in the specifications. The contractor shall apply for and secure all required permits. The contractor shall be required to attend a pre-construction meeting on campus at the time to be scheduled after the contract is awarded and other job progress meetings as required by the College and the Architect.
