Bids must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to Edison Township BOE and each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashiers check or certified check for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total contract, but not in excess of $20,000 (twenty-thousand dollars) made payable to Edison Township Board of Education. The successful bidder is hereby notified that a performance bond for the full amount of this project is required. The Contractor awarded a contract pursuant to this RFP must comply with the requirements of the Local Public Contracts Law, NJSA 18A:18A-1 et seq., and any other applicable statutes and regulations as set forth in the terms and conditions of the RFP. Proposers are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. concerning affirmative action and equal employment. Additional surveys can be made by appointment. Edison Township BOE reserves the right to reject Proposals that are not received at the time and in the manner designated by this RFP. Any and all Proposals may be rejected if deemed by Edison Township BOE to be in its best interests.
